How to Play Minnesota Gopher 5

Gopher 5 is a cash lotto game exclusive to Minnesota. To play, just pick 5 numbers from 1 through 47. You win the all-cash Gopher 5 jackpot if you match all five numbers drawn. You win other set cash prizes for matching 4, 3 or 2 of the numbers drawn.

Gopher 5 drawings are every Tuesday and Friday evening at 6:25 p.m., immediately following the Daily 3 and Northstar Cash drawings. Tickets must be purchased before 6:10 p.m. to be eligible for that day’s drawing. Check your play slips and tickets carefully. Gopher 5 tickets may be canceled only before 6:10 p.m. if purchased on Tuesday or Friday. If the ticket is purchased on any other day, or after 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday, the ticket may be canceled at any time before midnight on the day purchased.

Gopher 5 drawings are shown on KSTC.TV Channel 45 in the Twin Cities, WDIO-10/WIRT-13 in Duluth and Hibbing, KEYC-TV Channel 12 in Mankato and KTTC-TV Channel 10 in Rochester. Players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
